It’s been a few months now since Prince William married Kate Middleton got married. So we are about due for more pregnancy rumors. But that doesn’t make it any less exciting that In Touch magazine is circulating that Kate (Princess Catherine or the Duchess of Cambridge to give the young lady her correct title) is six weeks pregnant!
That’s right – the magazine says that the former Kate Middleton is six weeks pregnant with Prince William’s baby!
So is there any evidence for this good news?
The magazine claims that a ‘palace insider’ revealed the news – the same source who they state also previously informed them of the royal couple’s honeymoon location and the Queen’s wedding gift to Kate. They were correct about both those things.
There will have been a lot of pressure on the newlyweds to produce an heir as soon as possible after the Royal Wedding, especially with Kate already being the oldest royal bride.
But it seems that they acted on that advice and Kate is now carrying the third in line to the British throne. The law of succession were recently modernised to allow any of their children to take their place in the line of succession, regardless of sex. That pushes everyone from Prince Harry onwards down the line. Previously, their sons would have taken priority.
The insider says that Prince William and Kate have already decided on potential names for their first born. Apparently, they are looking at traditional names such as Edward, Philip and Michael for a boy, or Alice or Rose for a girl.
A total of three royal nurseries are currently being prepared too: one at Nottingham Cottage, one at their home in Wales and one at Kensington Palace.
So far, there has been no confirmation from Clarence House, so it may be wise to keep your excitement in check just for now. But what do you think: is Princess Kate pregnant?
