As they stood on the Buckingham Palace having just kissed publicly as newlyweds, Prince William said to his new bride, “Let’s give them another one. I love you.” But did Prince William know that Kate Middleton’s first ever adult kiss was with a girl? What’s more, she had been under-age drinking at the time!
Kate Middleton went to the prestigious boarding school, Marlborough College, in 1996, at the age of 14. At the time she was quite shy and had never kissed a boy. She befirended a girl called Jessica Hay and in this week’s “Star” magazine, Jesica has admitted that she and Catherine kissed when they were “a little tipsy” before a school dance.
And apparently things got a little heavy!
“I pecked her on the lips,” Jessica said. “Our eyes locked and we started full-on kissing, with each of us pretending the other was a boy!”
This steamy moment didn’t turn into a lesbian affair, though. “It was more about a mutual love of each other and an intimate friendship,” Jessica said. “If you combine raging hormones and alcohol, all sorts of things happen.” However, the girls were best friends for a long time in school.
Jessica said she that even though she and Kate Middleton shared a kiss, Kate was only ever interested in one guy. “She had a picture of Prince William on the wall of our dorm. She always told me he seemed like a kind, caring, sensitive person.”
So, Kate Middleton got her Prince Charming in the end but who would have thought that her first ever kiss would have been with a girl! And after she had been drinking alcohol aged 14 too!
