Prince William and Kate Are Coming to America!

The world’s most famous newlyweds, Prince William and his new bride Kate, will soon be heading to the United States of America! Their first official tour has been announced and it is to the former British colony!

The British Royals are scheduled to head to the former colony in just a few weeks’ time. They are due to be in California from July 8-10, 2011, although the exact locations and plans are being kept top secret. The need for security has heightened in the wake of the US mission which resulted in the death of Osama Bin Laden, but Royal sources are adamant that the trip will go ahead.

The visit to the Unites States is to follow the previously announced tour of Canada. That will take place June 30-July 8 and will be the first official tour for Prince William and Catherine, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge together. The visit is scheduled purposefully to avoid the July 4th celebrations of the independence from British rule, as Royal protocol dictates.

Princess Catherine’s royal duties are expected to be light for a while. She is new to royal circles and duty, and the British population are quite hopeful that the new Princess may concentrate on beginning a family very soon.

So the tour of Canada and the United States is an important one. Kate has never been to the USA before, although Prince William has.

Will you be travelling to these areas hoping to catch a glimpse of William and Kate?
