Pippa Middleton recently made headlines after being photographed in an Audi convertible in Paris sitting next to a driver waving what appeared to be weapon in broad daylight and her friend has since apologized for the incident.
The gun was later said to be a fake, toy gun but controversy still surrounded the incident and Pippa herself. There was even talk of potential jail time.
Now another friend that was in the car, Viscount Arthur de Soultrait, the brother of Pippa’s alleged new boyfriend, has issued an apology for the incident.
“Last Saturday I was in a car with Philippa Middleton, and we were being followed by paparazzi… As a joke, my friend brandished a toy pistol in their direction,” he told Us Weekly
“Obviously Philippa had no idea that he was going to do that and she told him to stop immediately. She did not find it funny. I regret enormously that this incident happened, and especially that Pippa has been subject to the subsequent attention through no fault of her own. I have apologized to her for this.”
The photos caused controversy and potential jail time and fines for all involved, including Pippa Middleton. UK newspapers are still reporting that they may be questioned by the police but Paris police seem to have lost interest when they discovered the gun was a fake.
