James Rainford, is best known for jumping on Paris Hilton’s ex-boyfriend Cy Waits outside a Los Angeles courtroom.
Today, Rainford is again in custody on $20,000 bail. He was arrested for violating a restraining order keeping him at least 200 yards from the socialite, Paris Hilton, and was arrested at the scene yesterday.
Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies responded to a call in Malibu on Monday. A witness claimed that he saw Rainford staring at Paris Hilton’s Malibu home from the beach.
An eyewitness said that Rainford “was hanging around on the beach while Paris was inside.”
A member of the numerous paparrazzi also watching the house from the beach was able to idenify the man as James Rainford. He knew that he was the man who had given her trouble in the past. Apparently, police officers arrived on the scene pretty quickly. They checked him out and led him away – he was handcuffed and put into the police car.
“Paris had been out on her balcony that day. It was obvious she was in there.”
This is the third time this year that Rainford has found himself in trouble for stalking Paris Hilton. In January, the 36-year-old Los Angeles man pleaded no contest to trespassing charges at Hilton’s Hollywood Hills home. He also pleaded no contest to battery in connection with his April attack on Waits, and was released from custody after serving 24 days of a 227-day sentence.
Paris (30) must have been made aware of the incident. However, she did not refer to it on her Twitter page late Monday. All she wrote was, “Going to bed. Tweet dreams everyone. Xo Paris.”
