Omar Sharif Slaps Woman at Film Festival, WATCH!

Legenday actor Omar Sharif yesterday slapped a woman as she lined up to talk to him at a film festival.

Omar Sharif was attending the Doha Tribeca Film Festival where one of his movies was being screened, when a woman approached him on the red carpet. When she allegedly tried to photograph Sharif (79) who was nominated for an Oscar in 1962 for his role in Lawrence of Arabia, he yelled at her angrily in Arabic. After telling the woman to wait her turn for a photo, he apparently slapped her.

From the video, caught by TMZ, it’s not entirely clear whether the slap aimed by Sharif actually landed on the woman’s face. But a reporter present at the time Tweeted that it sure did and that they had just seen Omar Sharif hit a woman.

This is not the first time the veteran actor has taken his aggression out on a person physically. In 2003, he attacked a police officer in a Paris casino and in 2007, he pleaded no contest to misdemeanor battery for attacking a Beverly Hills parking attendant.

This time, it seems the woman involved is a reporter and she had wanted to talk to him. Shocked onlookers say the woman brushed off the incident and moments later was smiling for the camera as she posed with Omar Sharif.

You can see the incident on the video below. Watch it and tell us what you think.
