No Publicity Is Bad Pubicity For Kim Kardashian as Ratings Rise

There really is no such thing as bad publicity is there?

Despite petitions to boycott everything to do with the Kardashian family, the new season of their reality TV show, Kourtney and Kim Take New York gained smash hot ratings on Sunday night.

The show’s season two premiere pulled in 3.2 million viewers, up from the first season number of 3 million!

That is despite (because of?) the huge amount of bad publicity generated when Kim Kardashian filed for divorce from Kris Humphries after just 72 days of marriage. Fans and haters alike were disgusted, forcing Kim to have to defend herself in her blog, and reject claims that the wedding, filmed for her reality TV show, was all a sham for publicity.

Further claims emerged that Kim was having the show edited to make herself look like the victim and Kris Humphries the bad guy. The season premiere of Kourtney and Kim Take New York certainly seemed to be headed that way, with Kris mocking Kim’s weight by saying she ate too much cake at their wedding, Kris casually farting in Kourtney Kardashian’s face and Kris manhandling Kim as they fooled around over a camera.

Apparently, Kim was stunned to get such bad press over her divorce. She wants to use the show to improve her image and she is happy to do that at the expense of her soon-to-be ex-husband.

Maybe she still needs some work on her image, but as fr ratings, Kim Kardashian is doing just fine right now.

their rateings went DOWN since the wedding, it’s a comparison to when people didn’t know them at all. Other stations are getting better rateings.
