No Glee Spinoffs, Graduates To Remain On Show, SPOILER

Glee regulars like Lea Michele and Chris Colfer’s characters are all set to graduate from McKinley High after this season.

That sent Glee fans into a bit of a panic, thinking they were going to miss out on seeing their favorites Rachel, Kurt and others. There were hopes for a spinoff show, following fan favorites into their adult life.

Now that idea of a Glee spinoff has been rejected. It is officially not happening, says FOX president Kevin Reilly.

But that will perhaps end up being good news for fans of the show.

Graduation does not mean that seniors like Michele’s character, Rachel Berry, won’t be back. Reilly has confirmed the good news that although her character is graduating, she will be staying on the show.

“Ryan and the guys have come up with a really cool idea. There will not be a Glee spinoff, but I think it will be something cool,” he said.

He hinted that this might be some kind of show within a show but declined to give any more details than that.

So, although the current New Directions seniors are still graduating, they will not be leaving on the show. All we know is that the characters are going to graduate, there will be no spinoff and there is a “cool” idea to keep them on the show.

Any ideas on this “cool” idea to keep graduates on Glee?
