The remaining contestants on the NBC reality TV show The Biggest Loser have walked off after an argument over a new twist to the show.
Program makers planned to bring back previous contestants for a second shot at the $250,000 prize. Fearing that would jeopardize their own chances of winning, this season’s contestants walked off in the middle of filming an episode.
Apparently, most of the current contestants were angry at this new plot twist which could see them lose out on the grand prize to someone who failed to win it before. So they got together and abandoned the show en masse.
The walkout forced production to close down on the show and reports say that filming has been halted for at least a week while the production bosses at The Biggest Loser figure out what to do to make people happy and start getting the program made again.
But what do you think to this latest reality TV twist, bringing back previously failed slimmers to compete for the grand prize on The Biggest Loser? Is it any different, for example, to allowing American Idol contestants like Colton Dixon another bite at the cherry?
