So, instead of launching her upcoming “Gypsy Heart” tour from the Unites States where she lives, Miley Cyrus kicks off her concerts on April 27 in South America and then heads to Australia.
Why has Miley blow off her native America? She told Fox News, “I just think right now America has gotten to a place where I don’t know if they want me to tour or not.”
And she, unashamedly, wants to go where the love is. Right now, for her, that is Australia and South America.
Miley Cyrus recently released her cover version of “Every Rose Has Its Thorn” in Australia and there are no plans to release it in the US. She does not intend to tour her new album, “Can’t be Tamed,” in the U.S at all.
Rather than touring near to home, Miley Cyrus would rather struggle with what she admits is her poor Spanish to tour South America.
“I Speak zero Spanish,” she said. “I actually failed Spanish so I will have someone with me making sure I can get through my way.”
So what has her feeling so unloved in her homeland? On the face of it, things seem pretty good for Miley Cyrus. Her family seems to be sorting itself out. Her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, is no longer divorcing his wife, Trish. Miley’s U.S. record sales are doing amazingly well. Seems like Americans are showing Miley much love but apparently she just can’t see it.
