Michael Lohan Seeks Conservatorship For Lindsay

Lindsay Lohan is in trouble. Again. And now Michael Lohan is set to go to court to seek a conservatorship for his daughter.

Michael has told an attorney that Lindsay is a substance abuser who is hanging with the wrong crowd, including her mother, Dina Lohan.

Michael will meet with lawyers early this week, but we are told he does not want to be her conservator himself. He does not want to be seen as just trying to get his hands on her money. He is apparently wiling to let the judge appoint a conservator, so long as it isn’t Dina.

Michael told the lawyer the first thing he will do if there’s a conservatorship is convince the conservator to send Lindsay to rehab, without the influence of the other people in her life.  Michael says every other one of her attempts at rehab has failed because the people in her life helped fuel her addiction.

Michael also told the lawyer he wants the conservator to convince Dina they need family therapy, which she has always refused it in the past. He says this has hampered Lindsay’s recovery.

Apparently, all of Lindsay’s management team is behind Michael’s attempted intervention Friday. People are very, very worried about her.

If only this was just a made for tv special warning against the excesses of Hollywood/bad parenting/disillusionment/coco pop usage as opposed to a real take by take slow motion meltdown of real people’s lives who have long ago ceased having real lives….
