Melanie Griffith’s Pillow Face: Hot or Not?

Would it be fair to comment that the once Hollywood star Melanie Griffith was not quite looking her best over the weekend?

Melanie Griffith (54) arrived at the 9th Annual Best In Drag Show at the Orpheum Theater in Los Angeles sporting some seriously bright orange eye shadow. But it wasn’t the eye shadow that was the strangest part of her appearance.

She has admitted to collagen injections in the past, but they can’t explain such a weirdly unnatural look so dramatically different from just a few months ago, can they?

The star showed off her still slender figure in fitted black trousers teamed with a youthful white shirt and leather jacket. However, her face told a completely different story of a battle with aging and not too successful cosmetic procedures.

Just look at those cheeks! They were puffed up enough to give her quite the pillow face look. And once you’ve got over the puffed up pillow cheeks, what about the waxy brow completely devoid of all lines? That brilliant smile didn’t even cause a single brow wrinkle, but it did show off the overly large lips. No lines there, either!

In contrast to Melanie Griffith’s distorted look this weekend, the Hollywood star was photographed in March with a much more natural look. Since then, she seems to have received quite a lot of attention from a cosmetic surgeon: a face and brow lift, cheek implants, lip fillers and Botox injections are all rumored.

I’d say this photo confirms the rumors, wouldn’t you? I’m not usually one to criticize other women for trying to look beautiful. But I just wish that Melanie Griffith had realized that beautiful was exactly what she was before these risky procedures.
