I thought things had gone quiet recently on the Justin Bieber paternity case. The teenage Canadian pop star took the paternity test but we don’t know if the baby mama had her son tested yet. The child maintenance case was supposed to have been dropped (or was it?) Anyway, Justn Bieber wasn’t called to court.
But it seems that Mariah Yeater has not given up on her
gold digging paternity claim yet.
Yeater, as you will no doubt recall, is the 20-year-old California woman who claims pop star Justin Bieber fathered her 5-month-old son.
A lot of things came out about Mariah Yeater, including another guy who claimed he is the father of young Tristyn, and Mariah herself initially pinning the baby on a boyfriend of hers. But Mariah just won’t let it drop. She is currently sticking to her story that the pop singer is the child’s father.
She says Justin Bieber fathered the child in a 30-second fling of unprotected sex at the Staples Center in New York.
Mariah Yeater has admitted to knowing Robbie Powell (26) who claims that Tristyn is his son. But she insisted he is not the father “and he’s locked up and out of the picture.” Well, that could be quite telling on her motivation, couldn’t it? He is indeed locked up, so Mariah’s doing it tough as a single parent.
“I dropped my lawsuit, but never my claim. I still definitely want aDNAtest and I want to refile my paternity case” against Justin Bieber.
She apparently still believes he’s the baby daddy. Strange then that she has not come forward to offer the baby’s DNA?
Justin Bieber claims he took a DNA test a few weeks ago. But Yeater’s Chicago counsel, Jeffery Leving, said that Bieber’s counsel has not yet told him where Bieber’s alleged DNA is secured, nor havbe they provided information substantiating the chain of custody and protocol utilized in the DNA collection and testing.
So, they say it’s Bieber’s party not playing ball and if things don’t change soon, Mariah Yeater will be refilling her paternity suit. For his own part, Justin Bieber has always been adamant he would fight this.
“I’m gonna be a target, but I’m never gonna be a victim,” he said.
