Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon Twin’s Names – THOUGHTS?

From our guesses yesterday, we were going a little tame with the baby names for Mariah Carey’s baby twins. But the girl and boy may wish that their parents had our taste in naming children when they grow up.

The names of the twins have been revealed and I was initially so shocked I didn’t know what to say! In fact, the names are so… unusual, shall we say, that I at first didn’t know which was the boy and which was the girl. But here we sort it all out for you.

Take a seat before you read this. The names of the babies born to Mariah Carey and her husband, Nick Cannon, are: Moroccan and Monroe.

You could be forgiven for a small intake of breath there and for not being sure which is the boy and which is the girl. In fact, I thought it was the other way around. But Moroccan is the boy twin. The girl is named Monroe in a tribute to Mariah’s idol Marilyn Monroe.

Their full names are: Moroccan Scott Cannon and Monroe Cannon. Monroe misses out on having a middle name because mom Mariah does not have a middle name either.

Apparently, Moroccan seems to be have been named after a style of décor! Mariah has a suite on the top floor of her New York apartment called the Moroccan rooms. She loves Moroccan inspired décor.

I really don’t know what to say so let us know what you think, crazy?
