At a time when those close to the Schwarzenegger situation are alleging there are more love children, a livid Maria Shriver has hired a private investigator to probe her serially unfaithful husband’s double life. It is all part of her plan to ready herself for divorce from the former California governor and actor.
Shriver, a former TV journalist, has employed a private eye to look into Schwarzenegger’s secret past, including his finances, and whether he fathered more illegitimate children. The actress Jane Seymour said she was not at all surprised when news of Arnold Schwarzenegger’s love child became public and went on to say that she was aware of more illegitimate children of the former California governor.
We previously told you how Maria Shriver has hired famed L.A. divorce attorney Laura Wasser to handle her multi-million dollar divorce. Shriver wants to know exactly what Schwarzenegger is worth, and it is reported that divorce may cost him as much as $200 million.
“Maria is leaving no stone unturned and she has authorized a private detective to gather personal and business information about Arnold,” an insider disclosed.
Maria is apparently fully aware of claims that Arnold fathered several illegitimate children. The investigator will also look into the secret finances of the 63-year-old “True Lies” star, since it is now known that throughout his love child’s live, Schwarzenegger supported housekeeper Mildred Baena, 50, and their illegitimate son, now aged 13.
“Maria wants to know exactly how much money Patty received from Arnold… she wants to know everything, period,” the insider said.
Until this private investigator was employed, it seemed that Shriver (55) was unsure whether she wanted to divorce Schwarzenegger and end their 25-year marriage, because of her strong religious faith. The Catholic Church does not accept divorce.
But now Shriver seems determine to uncover the sordid details of husband’s double life. The couple are thought to be worth between $200 million and $800 million. It is also thought they have a pre-nuptial agreement. In California, all divorces are “No Fault” divorces, meaning the spouse asking for a divorce does not have to prove the other spouse did something wrong. However, if the pre-nup is dismissed, the couple would likely split their net worth evenly, under California law. That amount includes whatever Schwarzenegger spent on his mistress (or mistresses).
