Lindsay Lohan To Host Saturday Night Live March 3

Lindsay Lohan is due to host Saturday Night Live on March 3.

That will be the Mean Girls star’s  fourth time hosting the show, but significantly, it will be her first since 2006, which was back before her legal problems and rehab trips began.

Jack White will be her musical guest.

Lohan is due to appear in court tomorrow for what should be her penultimate probation hearing. Things have been going very well with her community service and counseling sessions lately. So if Lindsay continues to stay on track with her community service, the actress will be done with all her legal requirements by March 29.

So, although Lindsay will still be on probation when she hosts Saturday Night Live on March 3, this hosting gig is seen as an important step in her showbiz comeback strategy.

She recently made a very popular nude appearance in Playboy magazine. But to get her acting career back on track, it’s things like SNL that she will need. She is also slated to play Elizabeth Taylor in a Lifetime movie. So far, that is not going well with Taylor fans.

But first comes Saturday Night Live. Will they be able to discuss Lindsay Lohan’s very public legal troubles and numerous court appearances with some humor? Will Lohan be able to regain some of the goodwill she’s lost over the past six years? Or Is this going to be a train wreck?
