Lindsay Lohan to Court Again? Assault and Battery Lawsuit Filed

Lindsay Lohan is facing a lawsuit over her attack last year on a Betty Ford employee. Her alleged victim is suing the actress for the eight to ten seconds of pain she said she suffered at the hands of the ‘Mean Girls’ star. However, an issue has arisen over the victim’s story and some major inconsistencies.

Dawn Holland, who now prefers to be known as Dawn Bradley, will file the legal documents today. The former clinic staff member is claiming that Lohan was combative and violent when she was requested to submit to a breathalyzer test. Dawn had confronted her with the request when the actress was caught trying to sneak back into the rehab center. Dawn Holland suspected she had been drinking alcohol (December 2010).

In the lawsuit, Holland claims that Lohan grabbed her right wrist and was “twisting and pulling it for 8-10 seconds.”

That sounds like a legitimate basis for a lawsuit, doesn’t it? However, when Dawn Holland filed an incident report at the time, she failed to mention anything about Lohan grabbing her wrist and twisting it. The rest of the story is matches between the initial report and her story now. Except the wrist grab.

Holland was later fired from the Betty Ford Center. She claims she suffered “great mental, physical and nervous pain and suffering” from the alleged assault and battery by Lindsay Lohan. She is demanding more than $1 million in compensation.

What do you think of her chances? Are they legitimate or is this a quick scheme for a money grab?
