The Mean Girls actress first issued a warning to the business yesterday (December 30) when it falsely promoted her as holding a New Year party on the Queen Elizabeth II cruise ship.
Her lawyer Stephanie Ovadia has now issued the company with a cease and desist letter over the use of Lohan’s name to promote their services and pledged to take the case to court if necessary.
The letter states that Lohan has been “intentionally, falsely and negligently harmed” and “will suffer damage” as a result.
A representative said yesterday that Lohan will spend New Year’s Eve in Los Angeles with “a few close friends and family.”
She is reported to have turned down a number of party invitations in her quest to remain sober.
