The Mean Girls star’s probation has been revoked by Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Stephanie Sautner wjen she appeared in court this morning.
The actress was given 360 hours of community service at a Downtown Women’s Centre following her jewellery store shoplifting case in January. She failed to make substantial progress toward that total or to abide by the rules that she should work there for four hours at a time. Instead, she was so unreliable that the Women’s Center fired her!
Lindsay Lohan then swapped last week to do community service at the American Red Cross. She seemed to like that as an easier ride. However, Judge Sautner was unhappy with that as her intention had been that she should come into contact with women who had had a rough ride in life. The hours Lohan spent at the American Red Cross will not count towards her service since it was not part of her sentence.
Judge Sautner said,
“Noone has the power to change my sentence. Not the volunteer centre and not probation. She is not getting credit for any time at the American Red Cross.”
Lohan was led out of the courtroom in handcuffs. $100,000 bail was posted and the actress will have to return for a probation violation hearing on November 2 to decide if she should go back to jail.
Earlier this month, Elite Transportation Limo and Security Services filed a lawsuit against Lohan for failing to pay her limousine bill.
Lohan also has filed a lawsuit against rapper Pitbull over a lyric in his song Give Me Everything which she said is derogatory towards her. October 2011 really is not Lindsay Lohan’s month, is it!
