Lindsay Lohan Late For Morgue Community Service, Turned Away

Lindsay Lohan has made a poor start to her new court ordered community service. She was so late for morgue duty Thursday morning she was turned away.

Lindsay was due at the L.A. County Morgue at 8am but at 7.40, she had her assistant call to say she’d be there in 10 minutes, according to Radar Online. Ten minutes turned into an hour and when Ms. Lohan finally showed up at 8.40, she was told she was unwelcome for community service today.

Her publicist gave “a combination of not knowing the entrance to go through and confusion caused by the media waiting for her arrival” as the excuse for turning up late. But Coroner’s officials were unimpressed and turned her away.

The Coroner’s office then contacted the Probation Department’s Volunteer Center that is supervising Lindsay’s probation, to tell them she was late. Just wait until Judge Stephanie Sautner hears about this – if she hasn’t already!

Lindsay Tweeted about this mornng’s mess up:

“With all of the stress and pressure from yesterday and today, I’ve never been so happy to go to therapy!!!  Also, I’m sorry for the confusion that I may of (sic) caused to those at the Coroner’s office.  Won’t happen again, now I know where to go!”

Yeah, right. We’ll see, Lindsay.

Thursday’s failure to complete community service is not a probation violation. Judge Sautner only stipulated that Lindsay put in 16 hours at the morgue by November 2. But the problem may be in her (or her lawyer) convincing the judge she actually is serious about completing her community service and is not actually flipping the bird at authority.
