Lindsay Lohan Accused of Theft

Wherever Lindsay Lohan is, controversy is never far away, is it? Today is no different. Far from taking a leaf out of Demi Lovato’s post-rehab book and emerging fresh faced, looking better than ever and behaving with dignity, Lindsay Lohan has found herself accused of the theft of some serious bling.

It’s not entirely clear yet whose expensive jewelry Lindsey is alleged to have stolen. However, police have asked a Los Angeles judge to issue a warrant to allow a search of her home on Venice Beach. Her accusers say that Lohan has been recorded on video and in photographs wearing the stolen jewelry, including a necklace. They are said to be high end pieces worth serious money.

The value is important. If the stolen jewels are worth more than $5,000, she could be charged with a felony. That is more bad news as Lohan already waits to find out of she will be charged over her alleged assault on a staff member at the Betty Ford clinic during her recent rehab. Lindsay has form in this area too: two years ago she was also charged with walking away with jewelry from a photo shoot for a magazine and a fur coat from a fellow party goer. Will Lohan’s soon be in rehab for kleptomania?
