L.A. Reid Launches X Factor USA Dirty Tricks Campaign

X Factor USA judge L.A. Reid has vowed to take down Simon Cowell and his acts and he doesn’t care how he does it. His campaign of sabotage against Cowell’s contestants has already begun.

L.A. Reid vowed to destroy Simon Cowell the moment they were assigned rival groups in the singing competition. Reid mentors the boys and Cowell mentors the girls. Now their contestants may bear the full force of their mentors’ rivalry as Reid launches a campaign of dirty tricks against Simon Cowell’s girls. Cowell is unlikely to take that well and will probably retaliate.

The judges’ ruthless rivalry is not just for the cameras. It goes on backstage too. L.A.Reid was recently telling people he plans to play “mind games” and use “dirty tricks” to mess with the girls in Simon Cowell’s category. He is willing to do whatever it takes to win the first season of  X Factor USA.

“Even if I have to give really bad advice to the other contestants when their mentors are not around … I will!” Reid said.

But Simon Cowell has already got wise to his rival judge’s scheme. He even called Reid out on it after a rehearsal, when he heard him giving bad advice to one of the girls. Reid is unrepentant about his tactics and adamant he will do whatever it takes to win the show.

So what do you think to L.A. Reid’s dirty tricks campaign? How will they affect the X Factor USA contestants and who will lose out most here?
