Kristen Stewart is terrified of what Robert Pattinson will say in his first interview Monday night with Jon Stewart on the “The Daily Show.” It’s not likely Rob is going to reveal much in the way of the cheating scandal that occurred between Kristen and “Huntsman” director, Rupert Sanders, but an insider shares with RadarOnline that she’s worried over the possibility he’ll leak something about their huge fallout.
“Kristen is very, very nervous about Robert’s interview with Jon Stewart on Monday,” a source told RadarOnline. “She’s confident that Robert, who has always been such a private person about his personal life, will keep quiet over the cheating scandal. But she does have some concerns that Stewart might poke fun at the situation in an attempt to get Robert to open up.”
The source added that Kristen Stewart has a sense of humor, but she doesn’t feel her betrayal to Rob is anything to make fun of. She’s also hurting and hopes their situation won’t be a chance for Jon to get mileage in the way of comedy out of the interview.
“She’s crossing her fingers that Jon doesn’t go there and instead concentrates on promoting Robert’s new movie, ‘Cosmopolis,’” the source said.
Robert Pattinson isn’t about to go on national television and pour his heart out — especially on a comedy channel. The “Twilight” star is very secretive and doesn’t like his private life being public knowledge. Celebrities who prefer to keep a low profile despite their immense stardom don’t tend to confide in a TV show host when they’re having personal problems. Pattinson will go on the show to promote his new movie, “Cosmopolis,” more than anything. If Pattinson is tricked into saying anything at all about the cheating scandal and how it’s affected him, he won’t say anything to purposely hurt Kristen. At the most, viewers can expect the obvious response from that things don’t always turn out the way you plan in life — without specifically naming his estranged girlfriend.
