The NBA power forward appeared on Good Morning America and Josh Elliott pulled no punches, asking him straight out if he still loved Kim; unfortunately for us, he didn’t answer that question outright, simply saying he is “moving forward” with his life after the end of his marriage.
His closeness to his mother, Debra, who accompanied him on the show, was obvious. He said he is concentrating on things he can control, like being in good shape to play basketball and supporting his mom and her cookie baking. In fact, they baked cookies on the show!
Kim and mom Debra both said it was their strong family bond and their belief in God that had pulled them through since the divorce announcement.
Of course, Kris couldn’t dish the dirt on his marriage to Kim Kardashian. Their prenuptial agreement forbids that. However, he is now fighting that prenup.
Most of the GMA interview focused on Kris Humphries’ life after marriage to Kim. He is currently spending time with family inMinnesotaand working on his game in hopes of signing with a team, now that the NBA lockout is over.
“For most people, camp starts today, 4 p.m.; hopefully I’ll be on a team soon and ready to go,” he said.
Humphries said he did not know how much the TV cameras had affected his marriage as he had never been married before. However, he played down the impact, saying he had been in front of cameras on the NBA since he was 19.
However, he admits he never really watched the reality TV show in which he featured with Kim. And now that the friction in his short-lived marriage is being played out on screen, he has not watched any of the current series.
