The reality TV star said she would never marry for either money or for a TV show. Her denial came when speaking to Australian radio hosts Kyle Sandilands and Jackie O on Wednesday.
That was Kim’s first interview after announcing she had filed for divorce from husband Kris Humphries two days before. However, she refused to go into details on the reasons for her decision. She just wanted to flatly deny her marriage was for money or fame, but accepted that those kinds of allegations were inevitable after having her wedding filmed for her reality TV show.
She was keen to deflect criticism that she profited from the wedding, stating that she would be donating the money for all the gifts to the Dream Foundation.
As we previously reported, Hollywood attorney Laura Wasser will represent Kim in the divorce, which will be handled I accordance with their prenuptial agreement.
