Kim Kardashian was allegedly jealous of how close her soon to be ex-husband Kris Humphries is with his sister, Kaela. That is, according to Radar Online, and it was just another nail in the coffin of their ill-fated marriage which only lasted 72 days after a lavish on-screen wedding.
Kris has described his sister Kaela as his best friend, and she was featured on the E! wedding special that documented the stress that Kris and Kim underwent while planning their wedding.
The Kardashians are a notoriously tight knit family, and Kim talks to her sisters several times daily, but still she would become jealous and would sulk when Kris would talk to Kaela on the phone, it is alleged.
Kris and Kaela are also extremely close and talk and exchange text messages daily, something of which their parents are extremely proud.
But Kim it seems could not handle Kris’ close relationship with Kaela. Kris respects his sister’s opinion and asks her about everything, taking her advice very seriously. Kim did not like that. She would, it’s reported, often try and get Kris off the phone with Kaela by making suggestive comments, or telling him he needed to pick up after his dogs. She wanted his full and undivided attention at all times and she viewed Kaela as competition.
Another issue with Kim and Kris’ marriage was that Kris thought his family were being treated like second class citizens, especially at the wedding.
The new season of Kourtney & Kim TakeNew York premiered on E! Sunday, and viewers saw some of the issues that may have led to the breakdown of the marriage, including Kris mocking Kim’s weight by saying she ate too much cake at their wedding; Kris casually farting in Kourtney’s face; Kim hitting Kris after she feels he ruined her pedicure and Kris manhandling Kim as they played around over a camera.
Kris Humphries feels he tried to fit in with the Kardashian-Jenner family, but that Kim never reciprocated those efforts with his family. Kaela, although a bridesmaid, says she felt like an outsider at her own brother’s wedding.
Hey, at least she was there. My brother eloped!
