Lamar appeared on NBC’s Today this morning. In the preview, part of the couple’s reality TV show was shown in which Lamar was asked by wife Khloe what he thought about his sister-in-law Kourtney Kardashian’s second pregnancy. Was he jealous of her, Khloe asked him.
“Yeah, they get to have another baby and I don’t,” was his reply.
That comment devastated Khloe.
“Its always on the plan for Lamar and I to start a family, but when I heard that [comment] it really broke my heart because I didn’t think he felt that way,” she said.
Khloe also debunked the popular myth that the couple are desperately trying for a baby and have undergone fertility treatment in a bid to start a family. According to Khloe, they are much more chilled out about it and “really are just like when it happens it happens.”
She said that she had recently been sent bouquets of flowers to their condo in Dallas. She thought this was sweet until she read the cards and saw that the flowers are from three different fertility treatments saying, “I hope you try us out!”
She said she and Lamar have settled for trying for a baby “the old-fashioned way.”
Khloe moved to Texas with Odom when he was traded from the Los Angeles Lakers to the Dallas Mavericks last year.
She says she loves Texas and the couple have received a warm welcome.
“I didn’t want Lamar to be traded and then a team to be like, ‘Oh God, his wife is coming with all of her baggage and the cameras”,” she said, but apparently it has not been like that and she praised Mark Cuban as “a phenomenal owner.”
The new season of Khloe & Lamar begins Sunday, February 19 on E!
