Kat and Jesse James called off their engagement last month but then on Thursday they announced that it was back on again. Kat is already sporting her engagement ring designed by Neil Lane.
That announcement came just a few hours after the decision by TLC to cancel Kat’s “LA ink” show was made public. It had, up to then, been a lousy year for Kat Von D. Her house burned down, killing her pet cat and her engagement was called off.
TLC had decided to cancel “LA Ink” after four seasons, which started in Miami and ended in Los Angeles. But after a fourth bittersweet season for the self-made tattoo mogul, whose real name is Katherine von Drachenberg, detailing her relationship with bad boy Jesse James and their wedding plans, the network has decided to call it a day. It looked like Jesse James had done the same.
Kat struggled with the publicity after her engagement was called off, storming off the set of “Good Day LA” after their intro of her impending interview only focused on her break-up.
Now, the relationship is back on. In the season premiere of “LA Ink” the 29-year-old reality TV star got a tattoo of her fiancé Jesse James’ face, and said she had “no regrets” about that when they broke up.
Well, now Kate Von D and Jesse James are a couple once more. Their engagement is back on. What do you think to their reconciliation? Should there be another season of “LA Ink” now Kat and Jesse are back together?
“LA Ink” airs Thursdays at 10/9 c on TLC and the season finale will air on September 15.
