Kate Middleton will celebrate a holiday new for her, thanks to the birth of Prince George. Mothering Sunday is next week and the Duchess of Cambridge will be one of the many U.K mums being recognized for their roles as mothers.
Mothering Sunday is the U.K.’s form of what Mother’s Day is in the U.S. That holiday will be recognized in the U.S. on May 11.
So, how will Kate Middleton spend her first Mothering Sunday? According to Kensington Palace, the Duchess will be spending the holiday privately. Details haven’t been released, but E! News was informed by the palace of Kate’s private plans.
You can bet Prince William and Prince George will do something nice for Kate. Who knows…George’s new nanny, Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo, might even watch him so William can treat his wife to a date night!
Everyone’s first Mother’s Day is a special one. Even Kate Middleton will feel extra special on Mothering Sunday. Being married to the future king of England has amazing perks, but a mother’s day celebration is a totally different type of celebration that is priceless.
