Kate Middleton and her husband Prince William are set to make a big announcement…apparently. A friend of the British royal couple says Kate is pregnant and that the happy news will be revealed publicly next month.
Kate (30) will share their “wonderful, happy news” next month, says Jessica Hay in an interview with ‘New Idea’ magazine. Hay, who is described as a close friend of Kate’s, tells the magazine,
“They’re planning to make an announcement in December.”
Hay attended the Royal couple’s wedding reception and shared a school dormitory with Kate as a teenager. She points out that Kate has gained a little bit of weight recently (did we notice that?) and that “William and Kate are focused on starting a family.”
William (30) also recently told Katie Couric that his time in the Royal Air Force may soon end because of the pressures of his “other life” and “more importantly, I’d like to have children.”
Of course, as second in line to the British throne, Prince William is also under pressure to produce a child and secure the line of succession. But don’t expect them to have a big family. Aside from their ages, Jessica Hay said that Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge, is secretly hoping for a boy first and then a girl.
“It seems very traditional but of course they’ll be happy with two boys or two girls, they don’t want more. They’ve discussed it endlessly and don’t want to be older parents.”
Headlines of a Kate Middleton pregnancy would be a welcome relief for her photos taken of Kate Middleton topless while Kate she and William vacationed in France caused an international fuss. But do we believe these latest pregnancy rumors, which could be announced just in time for the holiday season?
