Kate Middleton Baby Update: What Royal Mother-to-Be is Making Headlines for Now

In the latest Kate Middleton baby update, the Duchess of Cambridge is making headlines over shopping for her son or daughter’s nursery. Kate is due in the middle of July and the young British royal is under serious baby watch. She’s been seen shopping at Bernard Thorp and Trotters in London for various nursery furnishings.

“Kate has been in here several times,” a shop assistant of Trotters told People magazine. “She always bought clothes when she came in.”

The pregnant Duchess has been selecting decor that echoes simple, but elegant styles. Eonline reports that Kate is opting for “a neutral and timeless color palette revolving around herringbone brown, and being price-conscious of her final selections.”

What’s known about her purchases at this point, is she’s bought a nice Moses basket that sells for $450 in addition to a Bugaboo’s chameleon stroller in jewel blue accented with black-and-white stripes. The upscale stroller brand has been linked to famous celebrities, such as Sienna Miller and Kate Hudson. Dragons of Walton Street is another store the Duchess of Cambridge visits. They sell luxury items that include Beatrix Potter cribs, nightstands, chests, and pencil boxes.

The sex of Prince William and Kate Middleton’s baby is still unknown. A few months ago Kate was in the press for almost mistakenly saying what gender the royal heir is while she was talking to someone on one of her walkabouts. There are speculations that the royal couple are having a girl.
