Kanye West Ruins Taylor Swift’s Speech, Beyonce Proves to be a Winner!

It was a moment everyone will be talking about for weeks to come. Sunday night’s MTV VMAs proved to be a night worth watching after Kanye West had a complete meltdown and insulted one of the music industry’s most talented singers.

As 18-year-old country songstress (and highest selling artist of 2008), Taylor Swift, got up to accept the award she won for Best Female Video of the Year, Kanye West leapt up from the audience, stole the mic out of Taylor Swift’s hands and proceeded to tell the audience (not to mention millions of viewers) that Beyonce deserved the award over Taylor.

Kanye, who had been pounding back the cognac since he stepped on the red carpet, is known for making an ass of himself and has proven yet again why he is undeserving of a VMA.

Thankfully, Beyonce showed Taylor the respect she really deserved and let her give her speech during the time which she was given after being awarded with the coveted MoonMan for Best Video of the Year.

Taylor, who was crying back stage after the incident, gracefully made her way on stage and gave the audience a very heartfelt speech.

So it turns out that Taylor was a winner, Beyonce was a winner and a lot of other highly talented musicians left the show as winners Sunday night. Unfortunately for Kanye, he was the only person who left the show a loser. So sad.
