Mariah Yeater (20) from California, had claimed that the Canadian pop star Justin Bieber was the father of baby Tristyn. However, she has apparently dropped the paternity suit. That is thought to have happened late last week but the news is just breaking now.
Mariah Yeater’s lawyers, Lance Rogers and Matt Pare have apparently also backed down from the case, according to reports.
Yeater’s attorneys initially said they had hoped to settle with Bieber out of court. They even said that they had “credible evidence” that he is the father of the infant boy.
In his defense, Justin Bieber claimed that not only had he not had sex with the woman backstage at his concert at the Staples Center on October 25 anywhere else, but he had never met the woman. He had agreed to take a DNA test to prove he is not the father of Mariah Yeater’s baby, within the next couple of weeks, upon his return to the USA.
It is not yet known why Yeater dropped the paternity lawsuit. However, Justin Bieber had always strenuously denied the claims. Will this paternity suit controversy all go away for Justin Bieber now, or will people still think there is no smoke without fire unless the Biebs actually takes the test?
