The Baby singer is due to perform at Peru’s National Stadium on October 17, but this may now have to be cancelled amid specific threats to his safety.
A Facebook group named Kill Justin Bieber on 17 October at the National Stadium has gathered 1,874 likes and this is why the teenage pop stars’ fans are now seriously worried about his safety.
In response, Justin Bieber’s fans have created a Twitter campaign which resulted in #BeibsStayOutOfPeru trending. This social media campaign was created by the fans of the teen performer, who are now urging him to totally boycott the South American country and not go there at all.
One Bieber fan, Crlybbr tweeted: “I just found out some nut job in Peru is threatening to kill Justin bieber at his upcoming concert there? @justinbieber dont go. #longlivejb’ (sic).”
There were many successful calls for re-Tweets, hoping that they have the power to make Justin Bieber listen to them and keep himself safe from the death threats. His fans are taking the threats very seriously indeed.
One even got up a petition and gathered 907 signatures demanding that he cancel the concert in Peru.
However, representatives of Justin Bieber have yet to confirm whether or not the show will go ahead has planned.
In happier Justin Bieber news, it was recently confirmed that Bieber has recorded a duet with Mariah Carey for his upcoming Christmas album. But his heart lies elsewhere, as we know. Oh wait a minute, Selena, Bieber also said that Cheryl Cole would be the perfect wife, branding her “hot” and “a nice person.”
He’s such a nice guy, isn’t he? I hope he stays safe.
