A tabloid just reported that Jessica Simpson is battling weight loss issues and is depressed over not being able to shed the extra pounds Weight Watchers is paying her big bucks to do. In Touch magazine wrote that Simpson doesn’t want to leave her baby and starts crying. Adjusting to motherhood is said to be “difficult” for the 31-year-old.
“She’s so emotional,” a friend told In Touch magazine. “She doesn’t want to go to the gym.”
The source added that Jessica wants her great body back so bad, but it’s really hard.
In the meantime, Jessica didn’t seem so down when she took to Twitter.
On Wednesday night Jessica tweeted this about her new baby daughter:
“I absolutely love my family. Maxwell amazes Eric and I every day with every little thing she does!”
Simpson is reportedly hitting the gym where she trains with Harley Pasternak who has worked with Hilary Duff and Halle Berry. Jessica has a $4 million deal with Weight Watchers to lose 50 pounds in five months. Will she be able to do it? A photo was recently snapped of her strolling to her car and visible results haven’t shown through yet.
It’s unclear what the new mother is really experiencing behind closed doors, but to the rest of the world she appears upbeat and enjoying her new role as a mom. Having to lose so much weight in five months is a lot of pressure no matter how much money a celebrity earns from it. Jessica is no stranger to putting on weight and taking it off. This time around might hold its fair share of challenges for her while caring for a baby, but she’s determined to set a good example to her child.
Jessica Simpson wrote this recently on Facebook about joining Weight Watchers:
“It focuses on healthy habits for the long-term (and I can still indulge in my guilty pleasures every now and then, too). I have actually gotten a group of friends together who are going to be doing it with me.”
