Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey Ready for Round 2!

It may be over three years since Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson filed their divorce papers but that doesn’t mean the end of their relationship is written in stone.

The former newlyweds parted ways in November of 2005 after rumors of a potential split hit mainstream media. After months of trying hard to keep the spark alive, the two reality TV stars decided that divorce was their only option.

It wasn’t long after the divorce papers were finalized that Nick hooked up with his soon-to-be-girlfriend, Vanessa Minnillo while Jessica struggled to secure another long term relationship. While Jessica went from boy-toy to boy-toy (John Mayer, Adam Levine and Tony Romo to name a few), Nick and Vanessa maintained a solid relationship.

Up until a few weeks ago, wedding rumors were swirling around both couples (Nick and Vanessa and Jessica and Tony) but after a one-on-one lunch with Jessica’s best friend Cacee Cobb, Nick decided to end his 3-year relationship with Minnillo.

Conveniently, less than three weeks after the Lachey-Minnillo split, Jess and Tony also ended their long-term relationship. Shocking, we know!

There’s no doubt in our minds that Jessica and Nick will rekindle their romance. The former couple are featured on the cover of many tabloids this week (US Weekly to name one) with captions suggesting a reunion.

We couldn’t be happier to see these two reunite. Just one piece of advice: Don’t put your lives in front of the cameras again – we all know how that turned out the first time.
