Jersey Shore Star Mike Sorrentino Enters The Tanning Business

It’s often said that if you do for a living the thing you love doing, you will never work a day in your life. Well, now it looks like Jersey Shore 4 star Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino does not intend to work as he has entered the tanning business.

Yesterday, The Situation formally announced his partnership with Boca Tanning salons.

For The Situation, who lives his like according to the GTL code (gym, tanning, laundry) what better way to make some money than through a tanning salon?

Sure, he could have opened a fitness center or a laundromat, but Jersey Shore Season 4 star Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino had other ideas. He is getting into the tanning business.

Sorrentino has been formally announced as a partner of Boca Tanning Opportunities, Inc, based in Florida. He attended an event at the Boca Tanning Club in Miami on Thursday to launch his partnership publicly.

Boca Tanning Club has 20 outlets in Florida, Texas and New York. Sorrentino says he would like to see one in every single state, especially so that when he travels he can “always have a great place to tan.”

So, Mike Sorrentino is now making headlines for something that a business wants to partner with him over. Most recently he made headlines when clothing retailer Abercrombie & Fitch reportedly made an offer to pay him to not wear their clothing, saying he was giving their brand a bad name. However, that may have been more of a publicity stunt on their part, as The Situation said that no actual financial deal was forthcoming.

But it seems, Boca Tanning Opportunites are happy to give Mike Sorrentino the “opportunity” to advertise their tanning salons.
