Jersey Shore Season 5 Premiere Recap: Stay, Vinny, Stay!

Jersey Shore season 5 premiered last night with the stars of the show immediately returning things that they said they missed in Italy, like tanning, the gym…and pickles. But what happened in Italy wasn’t about to stay in Italy. The Situation made sure of that.

It seems fairly obvious that he and Snooki did sleep together at some point while Snooki was with Jionni. Surely even Snooki wouldn’t be as defensive and nervous as she is if nothing happened. But really, isn’t Mike Sorrentino being a little unfair holding the whole thing over her like he does?

“This is a hurricane situation, and it’s headed straight for Snooki Island,” he said.

Oh, really mature, Sitch, yeah. And what’s more, he had a friend, The Unit, arrive, to make him even more insufferable.

Poor Snooki tried her best to keep Jionni away from them, and even apologized to Unit for going off on him at the big reunion party. But that didn’t stop the guys goading her. She may as well just come clean with Jionni because they’re going taunt her with their supposed information until he knows.

We found out (if you hadn’t read my previous Jersey Shore 5 spoiler) that Vinny is thinking of leaving the show. He hated being away from his family in Italy, and when he saw them at the reunion party it just madder things worse.

“I’ve got nothing left to give man, I want to go home,” he said sadly at the end of the show.
