Jersey Shore Recap: Kissing Cousins But Little Drama

The Situation played a classic prank on Snooki and Deena and Sammi returned to the house but otherwise there was little drama in this season finale. Even Ronnie cheered  up with all the partying and pranks.

Snooki kicked the show off disappointed with the guy she slept with the previous night not wanting to cuddle so she decided to give Nick a second chance. Well, she didn’t give him much of a chance, telling him how “ghetto” he sounded, after listing all his attractive points.

The Situation got all responsible, waking Pauly D and Deena so they wouldn’t be late for work at the Shore Store, but a hung over Deena was next to useless at the store.

Ronnie called his father over to the house to talk and Dad reassured him he’d get over the pain of his breakup with Sammi. Going home was not going to solve that and his words seem to have helped as Ronnie seemed happier riding the miniature motorcycle that they got playing games on the boardwalk.

That’s when Snooki’s love life hit the skids too. Nick failed to show up for their date and his phone went straight to voice mail. JWoww suggested that he may have hooked up with one of his friends, but Snooki didn’t give up that easily, calling Roger to try and find out what was going on. Apparently, Nick was upset that a guy Snooki had hooked up with was the cousin of Nick’s friend. Even Snooki seemed to have trouble keeping the various guys straight!

Vinny’s blocked toilet nightmare continued and he again expressed disbelief that Snooki had slept with the kid who had tried to prank him. Snooki wasn’t happy with Vinny’s hypocrisy since he brought girls back home all the time! Vinny insisted he just wanted her to find good guys, and she said that was difficult. Well, with her taste in men it is!

After the girls returned from clubbing, Snooki got into Vinny’s bed to cuddle with him, but he told her it wasn’t a good idea.

We didn’t think it was such a good idea that Ronnie called Sammi, either. But Sammi stayed strong, offering him friendship or nothing. Uber-mature (not!) Ronnie said he didn’t think he could cope with that.

The next morning, The Situation played a great prank on the girls, telling the cab dispatcher that the passengers were going to Times Square. Pauly D was impressed but Vinny nearly messed it up saying he wanted to go with the girls. In the cab, Snooki was so worried whether she looked hot that it took a while for them to notice they’d missed their exit. The driver played his part well, insisting it was just a detour due to heavy traffic.

Maybe he was thinking about his great prank but the others back at the house were annoyed at how long dinner at Rivoli’s and they left him home alone.  Upset, The Situation and JWoww went to the Beach Bar.

And then it was time for Sammi to return to the Jersey Shore house as a furious Snooki and Deena finally sprung the prank. They admitted that it was a good one but they wouldn’t tell The Situation that, of course! They also made sure Vinny and Pauly D, took the heat for knowing what was up to and not telling them.

And then Sammi’s arrival shocked everyone, especially Ronnie. The show ended with him clearly worried about what was going to happen next. So what do you think will happen next on “Jersey Shore”? What is the future for Sammi and Ronnie?
