Jenelle Evans was arrested in North Carolina on possession of heroin and accused of attacking her husband, Courtland Rogers. When police arrived at their home, Jenelle had 12 bindles of heroin (small packets of stored drugs).
Drugs the “Teen Mom 2″ reality star had in her possession were Percocet in addition to plastic wrapping paper, and a glass smoke pipe — considered illegal drug paraphernalia.
Police say Jenelle hit Courtland with a piece of furniture in a domestic dispute they had. He was by no means innocent in the whole incident. Police add that he was arrested on assault charges as well for “hitting her on the neck and striking her with a closed fist on her head.”
Courtland was charged with possession of heroin as well with the intent to sell and distribute the drugs. He, too, was found with drug paraphernalia. Since Jenelle and Courtland denied possessing the heroin, cops charged them both.
When Jenelle was arrested, the 21-year-old was also served with a warrant for her failure to pay child support.
A source told RadarOnline that Jenelle Evans was “set up” by her husband. The insider added that “with them living together anything found in the common areas of the house leaves all residents accountable.”
The “Teen Mom 2″ star has been in the news for being in trouble with the law. She violated probation when she tested positive for marijuana and opiates.
