Jason Mesnick, Molly Malaney Engaged – But Will it Last?
News that Bachelor couple Jason Mesnick and Molly Malaney are officially engaged is hitting mainstream media this week and Bachelor fans have mixed emotions about the supposedly happy news.
Jason and Molly were in the center of one of reality TVs most controversial love triangles after Jason Mesnick proposed to Melissa Rycroft on the finale but changed his mind and chose Molly Malaney on the After the Rose Ceremony.
Melissa, heartbroken at the time, quickly rebounded with a stint on Dancing with the Stars where she later announced that she was engaged to her on-again/off-again boyfriend Ty. While Melissa was happily engaged and moving on, Jason and Molly were trying to survive a long distance relationship.

I agree with Cindy. Stop the gossiping and let them be happy. People make mistakes all the time. Unfortunately, his mistake was televised on national TV, but I give him credit for having the balls to admit it to Melissa and make the right choice with Molly. That takes guts. Most men (or women) would take the easy way out which would have been to stay with Melissa for the Bachelor finale and then break up with her later.

Come on people. These are two people that are obviously very much in love. They have stuck together through all of the difficult times with everyone hating them. I think everyone needs to move on. Melissa has and she is happily married. Obviously things weren’t meant to be for Jason and Melissa. They are both better off now.
In real life people make mistakes and Jason admitted he made a mistake and he said he was sorry. Give the guy a break.

Um, actually, why is this reporter and the poster above putting so much emphasis on the “where” and not the “what.” These two people, who neither of you know, are in love. Why do you care so much about their private lives? To summer, above, that’s a pretty pricey and beautiful ring for a supposedly “unemployed” man. If your man was unemployed, would he give you such an expensive ring or anything that pricey? Obviously, he has money.

They are a good classless match. Who else would have either one of them? What woman in her right mind would think him proposing at the same location he proposed to another woman. is romantic. Jason. He needs to just get a job and stop living off the freebies that are coming his way. He’s let it all go to his head and now thinks he’s a well liked celebrity. NOT!
