Glee: Unicorns, Tears and Rainbows

Brit wants to be campaign manager for Kurt. She mentions unicorns and all kinds of stuff that is…scary. And he tells her so.

Mr. Schuster says he won’t be the director of the musical. Booty Camp instituted for all people who need to work on their dance moves for Nationals. Co-directors are going to be Coach and Ms. Pillsbury. Some students protest, but Schuster convinces them he needs to concentrate on Nationals, especially since Sue is still on a campaign against the arts. Artie gets nominated as the student director and decides to take it. The show will go on!

Shelby returns! What does she have up her sleeve? Quinn doesn’t give her a warm welcome. What will Rachel say? Shelby says she wants to make amends with her when Schuster asks what her intentions are.
Sue offers Quinn a way to get back at the Glee club. She has to be in a video of hers to campaign against the arts. She agrees.

Brit keeps up her scary unicorn theme in a campaign meeting with Kurt. He has a black and white poster for his idea…Brit doesn’t think it’s so cool. She wants unicorn.

Shelby walks in on a practice session and Rachel doesn’t give her a warm shoulder either. She doesn’t want anything to do with Shelby, but when she pushes Rachel to reach for her limits, she decides to do it. Then they sing together and it sounds…beautiful. Is this the beginning of something wonderful that can last?

Sue and Quinn’s video against the arts is awful. They jump in to Schuster’s office with tape rolling and Quinn says she was on top of the world until she joined Glee Club. Except the video turns sour and Mr. Schuster tells her to grow up in the end.

Kurt goes through his audition and does a Streisand song. He is the greatest star…or is he? He gives an awesome performance. Then he sits underneath the window of the office as the directors discuss his performance and how he can relate to the lead. So will he get it or not? Coach wants a male lead who excites her lady parts – shiver – and he doesn’t do it. Not a surprise.

Kurt’s day gets worse as he walks back in to the school and the cheerleaders are hanging up signs with rainbows and unicorns. He tells Brittney to take them down immediately and go with the original poster they agreed on. Brittany and her pals discuss a new plan.

Then he enlists Rachel to help him with an emergency audition…to ensure he has a masculine aspect to himself to make him perfect for the lead role. Except in the serious part, when he is pleading to her, Rachel laughs and the judges also snickers. Kurt runs off and Rachel apologizes, but he doesn’t come back.

Quinn comes to beg Shelby to see the baby, but she says she isn’t ready yet. But then she asks for a picture and she gives it to her and she starts to cry. Shelby tells her she can be a true mother and family with them, but she has to choose to.

Quinn walks in on a rehearsal for Glee and looks like the old self! What? She tells Puck she wants custody of their baby back and if she has to dye her hair back to blonde and pretend, then she will do it. This causes Puck some worry, but he says nothing. What happens next week?
