Rachel Berry (played by Lea Michele) is not the easiest girl to love. She is usually the biggest diva on Glee 3, and boy does that show have some divas! But what we can expect for her when the show returns in November? Since episode 5 is entitled “First Time,” it seems like things go pretty well for McKinley High’s resident drama queen.
Glee 3 is currently on an enforced hiatus and Gleeks not equally as crazy about sport probably hate all baseball fans right now. But fear not, we will soon be back to the races for West Side Story roles and student president.
Rachel is a worried girl. She doesn’t think she’ll get the lead in West Side Story, so she runs for student body president. That forces poor Finn (Cory Monteith) to choose between her and his step-brother, Kurt (Chris Colfer).
As Lea Michele told The Hollywood Reporter, what we know of Rachel is that she’s determined! Now she is about to find out the price to be paid for that determination.
OK, now for the Glee 3 spoilers you really might not to know. Hard-core Gleeks who prefer to see the story unfold on screen should stop reading right now.
For those of you still reading, Rachel does get to play Maria in West Side Story, because Mercedes (played by Amber Riley) refuses to share the part.
As you may guess for an episode entitled “First Time,” which is to be aired November 7, it doesn’t take a genius to work out that Finn eventually forgives his overly ambitious girlfriend. They make up and make out in fine style.
Rachel is on quite a learning curve on Glee season 3, says Lea Michele.
She was keen to see the couple take their relationship to the next level, even though the futures they plan seem to be taking them off in different directions. She wants to go to school in New York and he’s deciding if he’s an Ohio boy or if he’s going to come to New York.
Things will also be tough for Rachel’s friendship with Kurt, which may not be as quickly repaired since he had a greater purpose in running for student council beyond bolstering his transcripts.
“It’s slightly mended, as best it could be,” Lea says of their status come Episode 5.
Glee returns from its hiatus courtesy of the baseball on Tuesday, November 1 with “Pot O’Gold.” This episode also features Glee Project winner Damian McGinty.
