Glee Santana SPOILERS: Gloria Estefan To Play Mom, More Scenes With Coach Roz?

Santana actress Naya Rivers is a big fan of Real Housewives of Atlanta star NeNe Leakes, who joins Glee this season as Coach Roz.

“She’s great. She’s hysterical,” said Naya, who plays McKinley High School student Santana.

Chris Colfer (Kurt) and Lea Michele (Rachel) also admitted they were big Housewives fans when they leaked (sorry for the pun) NeNe’s entrance into the show.

But it sounds like they have nothing on Naya, who says she watches the reality TV show religiously. So is it reality or wishful thinking when she hinted that NeNe would be set for a return to Glee when her initial guest star spot is up?

Naya is hoping if NeNe does return, continuing what will be a faceoff with Jane Lynch’s Sue Sylvester, she will get some scenes with the reality star. She hasn’t had any yet but she says she is “pushing” for them.

What Santana does get this year is a mother, played by Gloria Estefan!

“I’m very excited about that,” Naya said of the Grammy-winner’s upcoming cameo. “I have met her. She came to set earlier on in the year and brought her kids and I got to meet her then and I thought that was cool enough and for her to be playing my mom, it’s like, ‘Yes!’”

So what do you the to the Glee Santana news? Are you excited to see her play out mother-daughter scenes with Gloria Estefan? Where could she head with NeNe Leakes as Coach Roz?
