Glee Damian McGinty Romance Confirmed

Damian McGinty has confirmed that his character Rory will get a romance in upcoming episodes of Glee.

But Damian, one of the winners of The Glee Project, says that Rory’s current crush on Brittany (who is played by Heather Morris) is not likely to come to anything.

“I mean, Brittany’s with Santana. She’s kind of off the market,” he said.

McGinty had previously stated that he wanted a girlfriend for Rory. But now he says that he can confirm that his character to have some romance. He says that he has just read a script in which Rory gets a love interest!

Of course Damian is excited, but so are we! But of course, there had to be a little Glee teaser that all does not progress quite as easily as poor Rory would like. Damian hinted that there will be some ambiguity as to whether he and this mystery girl are really in to each other.

“There’s a whole story behind it that’s going to continue through the season where people might see a different side of Rory,” the actor teased.

So far, he says he has only seen half the script concerning Rory’s love interest. But he was shocked!

Glee season 3 airs on Tuesdays at 8/7c on Fox. Are you shocked to see Rory get a (possible) girlfriend? What are your hopes and dreams for this story arc? Let us know in the comments below.
