Glee 3 Teaser: Damian McGinty’s Stay Extended

Damian McGinty has confirmed that his stay on Glee has been extended.

McGinty was one of the winners of The Glee Project and initially won a seven episode story arc.  However, he soon established himself as popular with the Glee cast and fans alike. Now it is official: Damian McGinty is to stay on the show for longer.

It has not yet been revealed just how long McGinty will stay on Glee. However, the young actor said it was just confirmed last week that his appearance in the show has been extended. He called the news “an early Christmas gift.”

He said even he was not sure how long his character, Rory, would be around for in Glee.

“I am trying to learn to just enjoy things as they come.”

What he would like to come is a girlfriend for Rory!

In a little teaser for what is to come in the next few episodes of Glee, McGinty said that there is a line in the Christmas episode that perhaps hints at him getting a girlfriend for Valentine’s Day. He didn’t say which girl he may be pairing up with but he didn’t seem to mind as all the girls on Glee are “gorgeous.”

Glee airs on Tuesday at 8/7c on Fox.
