Glee 3 SPOILERS: Chord Overstreet Returns

Chord Overstreet is to return to Glee, it has been reported.

Overstreet (22) is set to return to his role as Sam Evans on the Fox series on a recurring basis, starting with the eighth episode of the third season, according to TV Line.

“We missed Chord and Chord missed us,” a source told the website. “It’s a win-win.”

Overstreet was previously offered a role for a few episodes on the series, but turned it down in order to pursue a career in music.

The way in which Chord Overstreet will return is yet to be announced. The character he plays, Sam, moved away after his dad got a job in a new city in the last series. His storyline may be uncertain but we’re hoping Sam and Quinn Fabray (Dianna Agron) will hook up again. Don’t you think they made the just about the cutest couple in the Glee club?

Maybe Overstreet is not so happy with how his fledgling music career is turning out, because now he has been offered the chance to return to Glee 3 as a regular character, he has changed his mind about blowing them off and will return in the eighth episode this season.

Chord Overstreet has been rumoured to be dating Emma Roberts since April. But what would you wish for in the return of Sam Evans to Glee 3?

Glee airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on Fox.
