It’s a little while before we get to see Glee Project winner Damian McGinty in his storyline for Glee, but we already know quite a lot of the details. Don’t read on if you would rather wait until November to find out what McGinty will be doing in the show.
We already told you a while ago that Damian has been cast as Irish exchange student Rory Flanagan, who goes to stay with Brittany and her family. But now we know a little more, courtesy of photos of him grinning at Brittany and Santana.
He is set to clash with a few McKinley High School students when he hits our screens November 1. Kurt won’t like his falsetto, either! As actor Chris Colfer explained to TV Guide, Kurt takes the high parts in New Directions. He won’t react well to the new boy trying to take over.
Add to that the fact that Rory will stay with Brittany’s family and you can see why Santana will also be upset as she is secretly in love with Brittany. Well, I guess it’s not so secret now.
Damian McGinty has opened up about how Brittany will treat his character like “her own personal little leprechaun only she can see.” He also teases that he has “a fun scene in Brittany’s bedroom.”
Damian makes his debut on Glee on November 1. He and the other Glee Project winner Samuel Larsen won a seven-episode arc each, while the other top four finalists, Lindsay Pearce and Alex Newell, won a two-episode arc each.
