“Desperate Housewives” star, Eva Longoria, confirmed Thursday night on “Extra” that she’s dating New York Jets quarterback, Mark Sanchez. The NFL player is 12 years her junior and is the second romance for Longoria since her split from San Antonio Spurs basketball player, Tony Parker.
“We’re happy just dating,” Longoria, 37, told “Extra” host and good friend, Mario Lopez.
Sanchez has dated Hollywood personalities before Longoria. He was also linked with Hayden Panettiere and Jamie-Lynn Sigler. The woman he was last rumored to be with was Victoria Secret model, Kate Upton.
The NFL star told GQ magazine what he looked for in a woman and Eva Longoria definitely has that.
“I can’t help but want somebody that’s, I don’t know, athletic. Family is big,” Mark said. “My mum has to love her. I mean, love her. Somebody who can handle all this… because I’m still learning.”
He had a unique question in his mind about the Super Bowl and the woman he’ll ultimately end up with.
“Cynically, I think, ‘Okay, how is this person going to help me with a Super Bowl?”
Longoria last dated actress Penelope Cruz’s brother, Eduardo Cruz, 27. They got together at the beginning of 2011 then split in March 2012, but were back on a few months later until they called it quits for good. A lot of attention was given to that relationship since it was the actress’ first major romance since her divorce from Tony Parker. They enjoyed a each other’s company for just over a year. Her marriage to Tony fell apart after she caught him cheating from cell phone text messages and calls. They were married four years.
Will Eva Longoria and Mark Sanchez turn their dating into a serious relationship?
