‘Bachelorette’ Emily Maynard Shouldn’t Pick Arie Warns Ex

There are just two guys left in ‘The Bachelorette,’ hoping to become Emily Maynard’s fiancé. We know that she has already made her choice. Although we won’t know for sure who Emily chose until we see it on our screens, the rumor is that this guy won…

So, it may be a little late in the day to be giving Emily advice on her choice, but Arie Luyendyk Jr.’s ex-girlfriend Cassie Harshman (not Cassie the show producer he also dated) is warning Emily off Arie.

She claims he is only on the program for the fame. And he doesn’t need any help in dating women because he has already dated hundreds of them.

Cassie (27) said in her interview with ‘Star’ magazine,

“The whole idea of Arie being on ‘The Bachelorette’ is a joke. He hasn’t raced much since 2008, and I know with certainty that his only motive for going on the show was for the fame and attention.”

Cassie and Arie, 30, began dating in late 2009, and moved in with her and her two young children from a previous relationship. Arie moved out in June 2011, but they continued to try and make it work until breaking it off for good that December.

“He wasn’t the best father figure to my children,” says Cassie, which Emily Maynard may be very interested to hear, since she hopes to find a good stepfather for her daughter, Ricki (7).

Reports suggest Emily is now engaged, and we don’t officially know whether her fiancé is Arie or Jef (although most bets are on the latter).

“Let’s just say that Arie has some growing up to do himself,” said Cassie.

Some of Cassie’s bitterness toward Arie stems from the fact that she thinks deleted scenes from ‘The Bachelorette’ cover him talking about her miscarriage of their baby.

“If that happened, I’m mortified that Arie would share such painfully intimate details of our relationship while the cameras were rolling,” Cassie said. “What happened is one of the hardest things a woman can go through. I’ve moved on, but Arie using that to try and elicit sympathy from Emily is horrible.”

‘The Bachelorette’ finale airs Sunday, July 22 on ABC.
